Henry (Hank) F. Vuori was an exploration geologist with Inco and spent a great deal of his career exploring Canada’s arctic. Fortunately he took a large number of photos of the geography and the people that he encountered during his travels. As this was a time of significant change in the north I think other Canadians will find them of interest – they are photographs of places that are difficult to visit even now. The pictures often capture the dangers met and adventures undertaken shortly after WWII in our remotest areas.
As Hank died in 2016 I am requesting assistance in identifying people and places where possible.
